    I would like to know if I can change the colour of my backlit keyboard with the laptop I have, it is a

    The manual for your HP Pavilion 17-cd0526na just states a ghost white backlit keyboard with numeric keypad, there is no mention of being able to change that backlit keyboard . . .

    Step one of your instructions resolved the backlite issue. One driver update was found, and BIOS was updated from v1.3.2 to v1.3.3. Upon reboot the keyboard functions as expected.
