  1. Upgrade to Win 11 - processor listed as supported but NOT recognised as such by PC Health Check

I have a Toshiba Tecra which I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 a few years back. With the support for Win 10 ending I would like to upgrade to Win 11. The PC Health Check App says that the processor is not supported for Win 11 - but the processor is an Intel Core i5-6200U @2.3 GHz, which IS listed as supported on page 20 of a pdf download "Get Started" and listed as supported online on this page https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-7-supported-intel-processors - how can I get around thoe problem with Health check which is stopping me upgrading to W

  2. Processor Included in Window 11 Supported List but PC Health Check says not supported

I would like to upgrade from W10 to W11.

When I run the PC Health Check it tells me that my processor (Intel Core i7-7700T @2.90Ghz) isn't currently supported for Windows 11.

However, when I checked the list of supported Intel processors, mine is included in the list.

What to do? Any advice welcome.

PC Health Check shows the processor is not compatible. It IS on the list of compatible processors though.

You read nothing in this post?

You went to the Windows 10 CPU list.

This is the Windows 11 CPU list, it doesn't have your CPU.

Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported AMD processors
