    Windows 11 required upgrade without allowing many many Windows 10 users to do it?


    You know, maybe Microsoft could relax some of their "requirements" for installing windows 11. How can you expect everyone with windows 10 to run out and buy new computers just because you are ending support for 10 and at the same time not allowing many many people to upgrade to 11 with your requirements?!! Sounds like behind the scenes agreements with computer manufacturers so everyone can line their pockets.

This offer will be applicable only for the first year following Windows 10 launch (after which, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users will have to pay to upgrade to Windows 10). Windows 10 will see the return of the Start Menu, a productive Desktop environment, and cutting-edge new API features such as DirectX 12.

    Windows 10 to be Free Upgrade for Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Users

    Note that it says "pay to upgrade" not "pay to use".
