Windows 10: Copilot "Keep" Button Briefly Appears and Disappears After Code Edit

After editing some code with the neural assistant, the "Keep" button appears for less than a second and then disappears before I can click it. This makes it impossible to confirm the changes. I encountered a similar issue earlier with the "Cursor" feature, and it seemed related to handling large amounts of code. Copilot button keeps disappear from my windows taskbar

When VPN is on, copilot button doesn't disappear. It only disappeared after I restarted PC (VPN was off, because my PC doesn't turn on VPN be default). Advanced Systemcare setting I used is default and nothing has been changed after installation. To make it clear, copilot button only disappear after PC is restarted.

 

Why isn’t copilot button working

I've tried everything you suggested but the Copilot button is still not responding. This issue started to occur after I installed the update Build 23601 and opened and closed the copilot pane a few times. (After installing the update Copilot is working but after using copilot a few times it stopped opening.) Also, there is no Copilot task in the task manager, just a "Microsoft Edge Copilot pane renderer." I closed that task, and after clicking on the Copilot button again, the task does not reappear.

 

how do i disable copilot completely in windows 10

I have Windows 10 installed because Windows 11 is absolute BS and was not intended to be user-friendly. All of the features that I enjoy, like the Start Menu with Tiles and Categories, are missing because Microsoft obviously doesn't care what users want.

That said, Visual Studio is not installed on my PC. I had to search for it and the only option I had was to download it so I can safely say that Copilot obviously "works", or assaults as someone else said, without the benefit of Visual Studio. So...not sure how the above steps can do a thing to take care of an invasive and irritating feature. BTW, I have Copilot toggled off and it still pops up most of the time. I hate it and I want it gone. What other suggestions might you have?
