Cannot Cast To Device

I have a Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200 laptop and am using Windows 10. The Cast To Device option is not working when attempting to cast media files to my new Samsung Series 6 television. The television is listed as a device in Media Streaming Options ("Allowed"and
"Make all of the Media Files in my library available to this device" are checked) and also is visible when I click on Cast To Device but when I attempt to cast a media file on the television an error appears - "Media is not available". Please assist.

• Do you get any error message when you try to cast the device?
• Does the issue happen when you don't use cast to device, I mean when you are online?
• Which device do you use to cast the content?

If the issue happens only when you cast the device, the issue can be that of the casting device. In that case I would request you to execute the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.

Cast to device from edge not working

I've been watching this thread and the suggested help is obtuse. Microsoft Edge:
Cast media to device feature can not locate his Miracast device.

The error is that the device doesn't appear on the selection list.
