Windows 10: I removed my pc from my devices list last night and I cannot sign into my Xbox account on...

Hi as seen I removed my pc from devices list and now it’s like the pc isn’t trusted anymore. I did this as I thought someone had hacked my Microsoft account. It pops up with “send a verification code” but that code never comes through to my email. I have checked the junk folder and other but nothing is coming through

Devices list under MS account

I have a desktop PC plus an XBOX one. Both signed into my MS account. Until today (well that's when I first noticed) both the PC and the XBOX one are listed under 'My Devices' when I login to the account.microsoft.com

However now the XBOX one listing is missing. And it won't seem to re-appear. I tried checking for other devices and nothing picks up. I logged out of MS account and then back in on the XBOX one and still no joy. Any ideas why this might be occurring? I ended up manually registering the device and adding the serial number. Which after a while made it appear under 'my devices'. Although it still doesn't appear under 'Devices with apps and games that you downloaded from the Store', I can only see my PC still.

I understand that you are facing issues while removing a device from your Microsoft account.



As you have mentioned that you have removed the device from the Microsoft account, it could be possible that the device was using OneDrive with the same Microsoft account and that might be the reason you are able to see the device listed under your
profile. I would suggest you to remove the device from OneDrive and see if that helps.



You can follow the steps to remove the device from OneDrive.

1. Login to
   https://onedrive.live.com.
   
2. Now on the left hand pane click on PC’s.
   
3. Now click on the devices that are listed under PC’s and on the right hand side click on
   Remove PC.

Cannot remove Xbox from device list

Hi,

So we can properly isolate the issue, please provide us with the following details:

• Did try to remove the Xbox on a computer where you initially added it?
• What is the Operating System of your computer?
• Does that computer belong to a Family account?
  
• Did you reboot the PC and tried removing the device again?
