Windows 10: USB-C hubs HDMI port causes bsod

I got a USB C hub like a 14 in 1, works good but the HDMI port causes problems.When connecting to a monitor or tv I see it work for a bit5sec to 1min, but after that it gives a blue screen.The hub works fine with a MacBook.I have a MSI GS66 Stealth 10UG-088BE 10th gen processor i7 10870H, RTX 3070Latest Windows update, latest GPU driverTried: different monitorsDifferent cableUninstalled a driver that could ve caused itClean installed GPU driverUpdating Win11No other connections but hdmi, doesn't workWithout hdmi, all usb connected, works fineBsod says problem is ntoskrnl.sys and gxkrnl.sys.

USB C to HDMI not working

I want to connect an external monitor to a laptop with no HDMI port, but it is not getting a signal via HDMI through a USB c hub. I can get VGA connection with the adapter/hub, but the HDMI connection does not work. I have tried two different adapters and two different HDMi cables, but neither work with HDMI.

According to your tests, the microphone is not recognised by the computer when plugged directly into a USB port, while it works fine when connected through a USB hub. In addition, you have tried reinstalling the drivers at the system level, but the problem is still not resolved.



This suggests that the problem is probably not at the software level, but at the hardware level. Specifically, there may be some physical fault with your USB port that prevents the device from being recognised when connected directly. However, after expanding the port through a USB hub, the hub provides additional power and signal transmission functions, temporarily covering the fault of the port, so that the device can be recognised and used.



It is recommended that you visit an official repair shop to check if there is a hardware problem with the USB port, it is likely that it is indeed caused by your hardware problem, I wish you all the best!

usb-c hub and video display

My USB-C HUB no longer displays video. The monitor is recognized I can move file and programs on the monitors but there is no vidio display (used HDMI, DP and vga connetions on the USB-C HUB. This occured after the July Windows 11 update. Any suggestions?
