Windows 10: Cannot read the disk from drive A.

Hello, when i try reading the disk from the drive A in windows 11 it says"A:\ is not accessible. The request is not supported."using a different disk work. why can't i read the specific disk?Thanks in advance.

I don't want to have a bitlocker or encrypt my local drives but if I didn't encrypt my disks it become read only disks how can I fix it?

I see. Does that read-only happen to all of your drives? Please follow the below steps:

1. Turn off the BitLocker for the drives and check if they change to read-only. If they do, please follow the steps below.

2. Open the Command Prompt with administrator privileges.

3. Type diskpart and then enter.

4. Type list disk then enter.

5. Choose the drive that is read-only by typing select disk 0 or disk 1.

6. Type attributes disk clear readonly then enter.

7. Once done, type exit and then enter.

Do the same for all of the drives that are read-only.

I would suggest you follow the steps below and see if it helps:

Method 1: I would suggest you first try the Troubleshooter.

Please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type “Troubleshooting” on the Windows Search bar and hit enter.
  
• 
  On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, click on “View all”
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Devices. Please provide a password if asked for it and click ok.
  

Method 2:

• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Disk Drives and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Go to the Drivers Tab and Click Enable (If not enabled).
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
