    Hello, a few days ago, I installed some drivers for a Logitech QuickCam Fusion from the Windows Update. However, when I restarted my system, it all of a sudden wouldn't recognize any audio devices. I did some digging and saw that a few other people had issues with these drivers, so I tried to remove them via the Device Manager. When that didn't work, I started deleting every individual file and folder relating to it in the Registry, Driver File Repository, etc. The issue still hasn't gone away, however, so I thought that I should probably get the exact packages as I can see what files I need t

    Driver Update/install

    Ok, so let me get the basics down first.

    1st delete the old driver(software or one by one)
    2nd Install new drivers from download
    3rd test new drivers

    Reboot after steps 1 & 2?

    • Click Continue to start the download.
    • When the download is complete, click Close to close the Download Window.
    • Close the Windows Update Catalog Window.
    • Find the location that you specified in step 9.
      Note: If you have downloaded device drivers for installation, go to
      Installing Drivers.
    • Double-click each update, and then follow the instructions to install the update. If the updates are intended for another computer, copy the updates to that computer, and then double-click the updates to install them.

    Installing update after downloading it through Microsoft Update Catalog

    Hi,

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    There is no need to install update separately it will be automatically installed when you download the update, I suggest you to go to Control panel and check whether the update is installed are not.

    Follow the steps to check for Update.


    • Open Control Panel.

    • Select Programs and Features.

    • Click on View installed updates.

    • Check for the Update in the list.
