Windows 10: LG TV outputs no sound by HDMI

Hi there;Initially my LG TV worked perfectly with my desktop both audio and video output but later I had to reinstall windows for some reason, but now with the new windows I face sound issues. I updated windows, disabled HyperV from bios, checked windows audio from services.msc enabled and searched internet a lot but problem persists. I also reset my TV and checked my HDMI cable was connected properly but still no luck... something odd I noticed was there's no record of Sound drivers at present in device manager which used to mention LG TV Audio or something like that before.

LG TV HDMI output doesn't work for specific Dell computers

2. Resolution and Refresh Rate: Verify that the resolution and refresh rate settings on the Dell laptops are compatible with the LG TV. Lower the resolution and refresh rate on the Dell laptops to the native resolution and refresh rate of the TV to check if that resolves the issue.
   
3. HDMI Output Settings on Dell Laptops: Some laptops allow you to customize the HDMI output settings. Check the display settings on the Dell laptops to ensure they are set to duplicate or extend the display to the external monitor (TV).

Audio lost to HDMI on LG smart tv.

After the upgrade to 10 I no longer have HDMI audio on my LG Smart TV. I have tried several ways to restore it. I do have sound to the speakers plugged in to my sound card but prefer using the audio on the TV. Any suggestions?

To resolve your concern, you may follow the steps provided below:

1. Press Windows key + X.

2. Click on Control Panel.

3. Click on Hardware and Sound.

4. Select Manage Audio Devices.

5. On the Playback tab there is listed the sound options available to you. Click on
Digital Output Device (HDMI).

6. There should now be a check mark on that option, make HDMI sound output as default .

7. The Sound should then play through your HDMI hookups to the TV.
