Windows 10: Microsoft designed to frustrate you !!!

I had the unfortunate experience of one of Microsofts many updates being the one that ruined my week The update led to the dreaded blue bitlocker recovery key screen which I had no clue about till disaster struck So the nightmare began … endless hours of searching for the elusive recovery key because it wasn’t where it should be - why not is a good question to ask ???After several Google searches I found answers on how to use what was visible to me on the blue screen . Uninstalling the latest update , trying the safe mode screen , hell I nearly opted to reset but the thought of

To disable the active feed and suggestions, right click the search icon, in the right click menu, hover over Search, and uncheck Search highlights.

 

Designer Mouse Not Working

Microsoft Frustrations, HELP!

I have 2 things I need help with: 1. How do I get fast startup options back? I have hibernate enabled as you can see below but the option is gone. I even tried running the CMD option powercfg /hibernate on just for the heck of it but no dice. I suspect the change/dictate occurred with problem number 2 below, showed up.





2. How do I remove the active feed and suggestions Microsoft has enabled on my menu? I'm not even logged into a MS account.
