  1. Pc screen turning grey after I log in

I’m able to log into my pc but the second I put in the password it turns grey I’m able to open up task manager and I tried going through all the apps and closing them to see if the grey screen went away but it didnt. This all happened after I used a app called partition wizard to merge my C disk and D disk for more space which didn’t work in my favor after it so called merged the 2 disks my pc restarted and now it’s just grey Everytime I log into it.

    :)

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

Grey screen on log in with Win10

I am using a Toshiba satellite L775 and am all of a sudden getting a grey screen when trying to log in. I have been using Win 10 for about 3 weeks without any issues. On log in, the windows tile comes up with spinning stars and after about a minute, I hear
the music to signal log in and then get nothing but a grey screen. Alt+cnt+del does nothing. I looked on the community and find people with the same problems. Solutions suggested by the techies are incomprehensible since I do not have a Win 10 disc and can't
get to anything on my laptop to try a repair.

help! What do I do to get my computer working again?
