    Hello, any help gratefully received. The PC was set up and the user account established via the outlook/msn logon, no local account was created.When logging in, have always had to use p/w and then pin and then one day it tole me it would send a code to my email to login which then never arrives and have been locked out since. The PC is connected to a functioning wireless network.Have reset email account MSN.com / outlook and checked spam etc. Have checked email account on different machines. Couldn't find option to direct code to a different recipient email address even though the back

    I can't sign in to my msn account and when it says a code has been sent to my email these is no email.

    I am trying to sign in to my computer msn news account but i cant. I says sending a code to my msn email (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) but nothing ever shows up in my email box.

    You might not been able to send or receive an email due to a misconfigured account settings. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions below:

    • Which application or program are you using to access your email?
    • Have you encountered any error message?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    If you are using the Windows 10 Mail app, we suggest that you remove your email account and re-add it.

    Unauthorized Emails from my account?

    It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

    Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
