    Hello! How do I access to WindowsApps folder as currently it is denied. My reason for accessing it is nvcplui.exe which I want to run as administrator because NVIDIA Control Panel suddenly doesn't allow to change settings telling, access denied. It was working fine before so I assume windows installed some idiotic update which now doesn't allow to make changes in NVIDIA Control Panel.

    Trying to access file in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\SubFolder

    Have tried both

    Getting full access to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

    Hey x509,
    IIRC ... it's not actually a corrupt entry, but a special permission/condition (Exists:WIN://SYSAPPID) for Users(Pc-Name\Users) and shouldn't be removed. If you must change permissions on the WindowsApps folder and/or sub folders/files .... I suggest you get familiar with ICACLS first and save the current WindowsApps Folder / Sub Folders / File permissions to a acl.txt file, so you can restore them in case you break something (which is very likely when messing with permissions)

    Access to ‪C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

    Unnecessary apps in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

    I see a lots of versions of the same app in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps. These are apps that I don't even have installed. Overall they are taking up about 10GB.

    1. How can I remove these apps completely?
    2. Or can I keep only the most recent version?

    The storage sense
    suggested here     or disk cleanup of system files has not helped.
