    Is downloading a Windows 7 ISO file LEGAL and authorized, if I have a matching product key?


    I need to settle this debate...ONCE and for all. I've made YouTube videos about it, and gotten them taken down. I've argued this back and forth with MANY "IT people". I just need a simple answer. Here we go.a I have a Toshiba laptop. I've owned it for 15+ years. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.b I have LONG since lost the original installation media and/or did NOT make a "recovery disc"c I have been under the impression that I could reinstall my licensed Windows 7 installation software via a 3rd party website, and as long as the version I download MATCHES my product key st

    Legally download Windows 7 and 8

    Windows 7 iso images are legally downloadable from msft.digitalrivercontent.net. As long as you have a legal key, there is nothing wrong with it.
