Windows 10: File History Service problem

Hi,Can somebody explain why File History Service kept stopping and turned Manual after it worked for 1-2 minutes even in Automatic mode and I can't turn on File History.

It could be the File History settings are corrupt or the older version of files is not getting saved properly. We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we can identify the cause of the issue. Kindly answer the following questions for clarification:

• Which build of Windows 10 are you using? To know about it, hit
  Start, type Winver and then press
  Enter. You could also press Windows Key + R, type
  Winver into the
  Run dialog and press Enter.
• Were there any changes on your computer prior to the issue? Any troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  
• Can you also please provide us with a screenshot of it? You may refer to this

Furthermore, we suggest you to follow the below steps to start and stop the services
Windows backup first, here are the steps:

• Press “Windows+R” and in the run command box, type “services.msc.”
• Search for the service “Windows Backup,” double click on it and check whether the service is
  started or not.
• Click the “OK” button. We suggest that you to stop and start the service again.

Then, the volume shadow copy:

• Search for the service “Volume shadow copy,” double click on it and check whether the service is
  started or not.
• We suggest you to stop and start the service again.
• Click on “OK” button and check whether you can perform backup successfully.

File history problem


ok bro tell me when i am clicking on add a dive it is saying no usable drives found ? so what is the solution for this help in detail and step by step?

 

File History Service is not accessible

The message means what it says: That the File History Service is not running. You could try this:

• Press the Windows key+R
• Type services.msc and press Enter.
• Double-click File History Service.
• Click the Start button.
