Windows 10: How to reinstall the IPP class driver?

I had trouble with a brother printer where it would only print A3 on one side of the page. I tried installing drivers from the brothers website and that didn’t do anything. I uninstalled the IPP class driver from device manager since I couldn’t disable the IPP driver and now the printer has completely stopped working - it seems the IPP class driver is needed for the printer and I can no longer access the properties for the drivers. I’m so lost!! I also tried downloading drivers from ASUS since that’s the device I'm using but that hasn’t worked either :

MS-IPP Class Driver missing

Thanks for getting back to me! Unfortunately, I tried the solutions suggested, but none caused the MS-IPP class driver to become installed. If there were any more things I could try that would be great. Thanks again

 

MS-IPP Class Driver missing

Hi there,

I have two Windows 10 (21H2) computers I wish to connect to a CUPS network printer. However, when I try and connect via IPP, there is no option for the MS-IPP class driver. If I look in DriverStore, INF files for the driver seem to be present under prnms012, but using "Have Disk" to point directly at this file returns a blank list of available drivers. I would really like to use this driver. Any ideas why it doesn't show up?

Microsoft IPP Class Driver only offers Grayscale and Monochrome for printers on my laptop.
