    Persistent PC Crashes, BSODs, and Black Screen After Reset


    Good evening,I am experiencing an issue with my PC and have not yet determined whether it is a hardware or software problem. For several weeks now, my computer has been crashing, especially during gaming sessions.When I checked the Event Viewer, the reported error was often c0000005, apparently related to a memory access violation. Here are the steps I have taken to try to resolve the issue:Updated drivers using CloudDriver.Ran commands such as sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, and chkdsk.Uninstalled and reinstalled the C++ modules.Attempted to disable the XMP profile i

    PC Crashed no BSOD just froze blackscreen then reset

    So my PC just decided to crash. Froze for a few seconds then went to a black screen and proceeded to reset. No BSOD error screen or anything. Currently running Latest updates on Windows 20H2

    Black screen loop error: There was an error reseting your PC

    Hi Alen,

    As you are facing issue with black screen boot loop, I suggest you to perform Power Drain by following the steps provided below:

    • Shut down the Computer.
    • Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
    • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
    • Connect the power source and start the computer.

    If the issue still persists, create an USB installation media (ISO) for Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool from the link provided below:

    Download Windows 10

    After the installation media is created, follow the steps provided below to run Startup Repair.

    • Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
    • On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer.
    • On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot>Advanced Options.
    • Click on Startup Repair.
