The latest W11 updates break docking stations. I even bought another brand new one today and it broke that too. My question is - does Microsoft do any product testing at all before releasing updates? If so, how is it possible that you release ones that break even the latest hardware?Do not go through "did you update drivers" rubbish. Of course I have the latest.Yes it's your updates. I've proven this. The only way to use a docking station with W11 is:1. revert the latest W11 updates2. prevent all automated updates. Yes it's possible. I know MS say it's not but it is. Check github.until MS actua

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond W11 updates buggy :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Is Windows 1909 considered to be buggy?

To avoid misspelling of some user IDs that may be a little awkward to type, I do a copy/paste from the Quote function, and paste after the @

No, there is no drop-down or suggestion list like a Google search, but TF makes up for it by being the best. *Wink
