Windows 10: Transport Level error code

Why am I getting error message: transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server, provider: TCP Provider, error-0 the semaphore time out has expired and then it kicks me off the program I am trying to load

Edge - does not update - error code 7: 0x80072EFD — system level

Yesterday and today I have been trying to update Edge. Both on VM and host, the 'Check for updates' runs for a while (checking) but ends with an error. " An error occurred while checking for updates: Unable to connect to the Internet. If you use a firewall, please allow list MicrosoftEdgeUpdate.exe. (error code 7: 0x80072EFD — system level). " Disabled Microsoft Defender firewall : makes no difference The MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe can not connect with Internet, however, everything is in order.

SQL Server version 14 Transport-Level Error Linked Server

There is a support question named "Transport error on SQL 2014 on Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter" that I am having the same exact issue:

Msg 109, Level 20, State 0, Line 0

A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - The pipe has been ended.)

There appears to be a hotfix for this bug,

but it's not for the server version I am running:

Windows Server 2016 Standard

Version 1607

OS Build: 14393.2906

How can I fix this issue?

 

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.
