    Usability of a Compaq CQ58 with Windows 8 laptop?


    I have a Compaq CQ58 with Windows 8. I was able to turn it on, but not much else to see or do. Not sure if this laptop is usable. Any thoughts as to how to see if this laptop is worth saving? Thank you.

    hi my name is john and im running windows 8 on a hp Compaq CQ58-33sa .it was bought for my wife in 2015 January and her laptop was stolen,i only got it back from the police 2 weeks back,i had to replace the screen,Can i update my Compaq cq58

    No sound Compaq CQ58

    I have no sound on my Compaq CQ58 laptop after upgrading to Windows 10. I often experienced it earlier on Windows 8 but I could get it back by deleting an update.

    I can't seem to find the solution after upgrading, please enlighten me with all your knowledge because this is driving me insane.

    Hi

    HP Compaq CQ58 Notebook keyboard keys are sowing wrong information.

    eg. Shift + " enters @symbol.

    Shift + @ enters " symbol.

    Backslash key enters #symbol.

    Any help to fix would be appreciated.
