Windows 10: Microsoft not sending me a verification code

Hello.I've been trying to sign in and connect my phone with PC via Phone Link Android. At the moment Phone Link is connected to another person's Microsoft account and I'm unable to switch to my account. Every time I request to send a code to my email, it never comes through. The email I'm trying to send the code to is a Yahoo mail. And there is no alternative option to sign in for my Phone Link. PS: I already have Link to Window installed on my android phone.Please help

Microsoft won't send me verification code emails

Hi TG. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Sometimes the code won't be sent until your Account is verified in Settings > Accounts > Your Info.

If that's not it then here are the steps Microsoft recommends for troubleshooting verification Code arrival:

If nothing else works then I'd Contact Microsoft Support at Contact Us - Microsoft Support. Explain the problem to the Virtual Assistant and keep asking for an agent, to get chat or a call back on week days.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before.
