Windows 10: Windows 10 Black Screen while booting after update.

My Friend just updated his pc, and after the update when he tried to boot up his pc the screen went black right before the log in screen, sometimes it gives him a cursor sometimes not. So far we tried:- Getting into Recovery Mode Says "preparing automatic repair" but then it goes back to normal loading and goes to black right before the log in screen could appear- Using Win + Ctrl + Shift + B- Ctrl + alt + Delete The menu does not pop up- Unplugging the pc from power of courseIf theres anything else we could try, please tell us.I apologize for any grammar mistakes, my English is good bu

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
