  1. 184 Million Passwords Were Leaked in a Massive Data Breach

ZDNet is reporting that 184 million passwords for Google, Microsoft, Facebook and other services were leaked in a huge data breach. The information was stored in a plaintext file on the internet. That means no encryption, no password protection and no other security. The ISP hosting the file has removed it from public access, but don't think that it wasn't up long enough for criminals to copy it. In the post on ZDNet, author Lance Whitney offers advice on how to protect yourself. This is why passwords are no longer secure: Even the best passwords won't protect you if someone can steal them.

What to do if I just found out about my data's breach on dark web?

Hi Angad, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

This is most likely because of the massive data breach from Cutout.Pro. Here's an article about this.

It is generally not possible to remove information once it has leaked onto the dark web. What you can do is change your Google Account's password. Having enabled 2-step verification and followed all of Google's security recommendations, your account should remain secure as long as these safeguards are maintained.

The 773 Million Record Collection #1 Data Breach

I want to know how these passwords have been collected. Have Google and Microsoft leaked my main password? If my mail address is on the list it means it's been compromised via another site, right? Then my question is, do they collect different passwords on the breached/leaked sites on the same associated mail address?

The 773 Million Record Collection #1 Data Breach

Right, so as an example; Let say tenforums is breached, then my mail address and password for tenforums is leaked. That's what this breach is all about? So Collection #1 then may have that mail address and password for tenforums on that list, correct? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to make sense of this before puting on a tin foil hat.
