I have a LG Gram laptop, occasionally when i lift the lid the keyboard does not work. The mousepad works and so does a USB keyboard. If I reboot the keyboard will be fine. how do I find out what is blocking the keyboard entry?

Unable to disable automatic power on when laptop lid is lifted

I recently got a new laptop [Samsung]. It comes with the Windows 10 system. Everything seems to be working, but whenever I shut down the computer then close the lid, next time I lift the lid, the computer powers on automatically.



I have read that this is because the Windows 10 shut down option doesn’t actually shut the computer down, and I have tried the few suggestions I have seen for changing this.



1. I turned off “Fast Startup”

2. I disabled hibernation.



However, it is still happening! It is driving me crazy because I don’t want my computer to turn on just because I lift the lid. It is highly inconvenient.



I have been doing almost nothing but researching this problem ever since I got the laptop. It is driving me nuts. If anyone has an answer, please help!

 

While using three displays, how to auto disconnect the laptop's display when I close the lid in Windows 11(LG gram)

Hello,

I have three laptops. On two of them when I have two more displays connected bu hub connector, as I close the laptop lid, its display gets disconnected and all open windows get transferred to one of the external displays immediately, which is what I want. But on my LG gram laptop(which its windows upgraded to 11 recently) this is not the case(after upgrading windows 10 to 11) and the laptop display stays connected and even some applications I open on the external displays open on the laptop display. This is very annoying. I have tried so many changes so far. and the display settings on all three laptops are the same. Please help me to make the LG gram behave like other two. As I noticed the way the way the other two work is the default setting.
