My system is no longer auto filling My user ID and password when logging onto a site. Each tme I attempt to go onto a site, even my email account, it requires me to enter User ID and password when they had previously just brought me to the site without requiring any log in, or my log in info would automatically autofill., requiring no entry on my part

    :)

  2. Add a site to 'Saved password' in Edge

Thank you Paulo, That worked splendidly! You explained the steps very succinctly.

Add a site to 'Saved password' in Edge

Hi klaro, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

See if these steps can help:

    - Remove it from the Never Saved list then delete the site data.

**To delete site data, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data. Search the website then click the bin icon to remove it.

    - Once that is done, access the website then enter your credentials. (Don't click the login button yet or press Enter key)

    - Click the key icon at the end of the website address in the address bar then click on Got it to save the password.

    - See if the username and password are now in the saved list

    Generic Credentials

    Hi,

Saving your login information in the Windows Credential Manager can be helpful as it saves time when logging in to websites or other computers on a network. To provide you the best steps in resolving your issue, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • What is your email domain?
    • Are you using Outlook app, Mail app, or Outlook.com to access your email?

    Regards.
