Windows 10: error message when trying to log in to wifi

i receive the below message when try trying to sign in to my wifi network using win10..."enter the network security keysome information changed since the last time you connectedwe need additional information to complete the connection"entering the password again did not worki'm trying to access the wifi from my phone hotspotalso, i don't have this issue on my win11 laptopplease help

^ what they said will both work. i suggest updating directX, and in the future please try and list the exact error message... and i want a muffin.

 

Dual error message not fixed

i only get one message. i enabled log to file, created folder for it, then to test the error message, i deleted the folder, to prompt the error message, of which i got one. Ver 1.20.0

The authentication failed error that you encounter when connecting to a local WiFi can be related to a change on the device firmware caused by the recent update. As an initial step to fix your concern, we suggest that you reset the connection by following
these steps:

• Select Network & Internet.
• Click on WiFi and select Manage known networks.
• Under the list of networks, select the affected WiFi connection.
• Select Forget.

Once you're done, reconnect to the WiFi and check if the issue persist.
