Upgrading SSD on new Mini PC and reinstalling the pre-installed Win11 pro software from it

I have a new mini PC with win11 pro pre-installed on its 256gb SSD, but want to upgrade the SSD card. BUT, further reading tells me... "The Windows 11 Pro license is usually [* ... tied to your Microsoft account], so ensure you are logged in with the same account you used to upgrade to Pro." ALSO...Reading "Account vs. Device Licensing: Windows licenses are typically tied to the device motherboard or a user Microsoft 365 for example. Your [* ... Microsoft account is separate from the licensing of Windows itself]" Which to me is a bit contradictive, or am I reading it wrong? Anyhow

  3. Preparing ahead - clean Win11 install

I have a legit (but old) install of Win10 Enterprise. The PC it's on has HW too old to qualify for a Win11 update.

After the new year I plan on doing some fundamental upgrades (mobo, CPU, GPU, etc.) to bring the PC fully up to date, and as part of that would like to do a clean Win11 install on a new M.2 SSD.

Is this much of hassle - upgrading the OS while also upgrading the core HW? Does MS have a suggested "how to" to do this using your existing Product Key? I assume having Win10 Enterprise will qualify me for Win11 Pro, so I am planning ahead to make the transition as smooth as possible.

    Thanks!

Unable for format Mini PC - X5 with Windows

I recently purchased a X5 Mini PC from the following site and was trying to have a clean install of Windows 10 instead of the pre-install copy with android.

During the installation process, I was thrown with an error stating that "Setup was unable to create a new system partition: Fix for Windows".

    1. I have tried to work on this for a couple of nights along with this
guide to use diskpart to pre-format and prepare the disk. But
it didn't work, the same error still occurred.
    2. Others suggest that it could be an UEFI locked issue and I should disable the secure boot option. However, the APTIO Setup Utility does not provide me with any option. I tried adding administrator password in security, hoping that it would enable the option as other suggest, but it failed to work.

Does anyone have similar experience or is familiar with BIOS and UEFI to lend a hand? Much appreciated.
