Windows 10: Windows 11 frequent crashes and screens issues

Recently I have been experiencing frequent crashes and screens that look like the one below. It has gotten so bad that it locks me out because of repeated shutdowns and I have to continually use the “forgot my pin” to get in. The glitchy screen happens less than the black screen crashes but I’d say the ratio is 2:5 - I get blue screens as well but none of the options indicate anything is wrong. Please help me out before I chuck her in the shop and spend money.

I would guess that your GPU is faulty, the crashes that are most frequent seem related to the GPU.

I do have a suggestion, although this suggestion is more often seen with 0x9F crashes where drivers are in an inconsistent state for the OS.
Try to change the powerplan, standard there are following plans

1. Powersaver,
2. Balanced, standard selected,
3. High performance

If you didn't change your power plan, you have balanced selected.
Select High performance and see if it makes a difference.

 

In Windows 11 power-saving mode, clicking the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen will cause a system crash.

Problem description: As the title suggests.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter Windows 11 power-saving mode.
   
2. Click the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen.
   

Expected result: The login screen should appear and after logging in, the browser should automatically open to view content.

Actual result: The system crashes.

Device information:

• Windows 11 version: 22H2 (22621.1413)
  
• Device: Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 Pro 2021
  
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  

Other information:

• When plugged in, the system automatically turns off power-saving mode and cannot be turned on manually. The function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn off power-saving mode and the function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn on power-saving mode and the system crashes.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
