Windows 10: How to upgrade my current Windows Home to Pro by recovering my previous puchase?

I recently purchased a Samsung laptop that came with Windows 11 Home, I already bought Windows 11 Pro for my Parallels. I am not using Parallels since I sold my Mac and totally switched to Windows, Is there any chance I can upgrade my Windows 11 Pro on my current Samsung laptop and using my Parallels Windows Pro version?

How to Recover Windows 11 Pro Upgrade

4. Choose whether you want to keep your files or remove everything, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process.
   
5. Once the reset process is complete, go back to the Settings app and click on "Update & Security".
   
6. Click on "Windows Update", and then click on "Check for updates".
   
7. If there are any available updates, download and install them.
   

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you can try using the System File Checker (SFC) tool to repair any corrupted system files. Here's how to use the SFC tool:

1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
   
2. Type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and press Enter.
   
3. Wait for the scan to complete, and then restart your computer.
   

If the issue still persists, you can try using the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool to repair any system image issues. Here's how to use the DISM tool:

1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

Can't upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Pro

I suggest you to download and create an installation media for Windows 10 Pro form the link provided below:

Download Windows 10

After the installation media is created, suggest you to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from the installation media. When the upgrade asks for product key, enter the product key purchased for Windows 10 Pro. If it does not accept, suggest you to skip the activation
step. After the Operating System is installed, suggest you to activate by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select the Region from the list and click Next.
• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.

Thank you for your response with the current status of the issue. Sorry for the late response.

As you were not able to activate Windows 10 pro with the product for Windows 8.1, so I suggest you to try to roll back to Windows 8.1 pro. Then try to upgrade to Windows 10 pro.

Step 1: I suggest you to follow the below Microsoft Help Article to roll back to previous operating system.

Step 2: Then I would suggest you use the Media Creation Tool in the below link and choose Upgrade option to upgrade to Windows 10. Before upgrading to Windows 10, I suggest you to take a backup of important files and folders to the external
drive.
