Sim Card reader drivers not working

I have an HP Pro Book which has an inbuilt sim card slot and I used to use it without any issues but its now refusing to work. I have tried reinstalling the Network driver for mobile broadband but it is not working What can I do to get that fixed?
Are there sim card drivers that i maybe uninstalled or need to install?

You push a cellphone/mobile phone SIM card into the slot and it will read it..

 

E65 - Insert SIM card

My E65 had been working perfectly today, but I loooked at it and it had an 'Insert SIM card' error message. I turned it off, took out the SIM, put it back in, put the battery back in and turned it on. Its now in Offline mode, and every time I try to change
its profile, I get the same Insert SIM card message.



I've tried turning it on without the memory card, I've put paper in with the SIM in case the connection was loose, and still the same message.



Any suggestions?
