Windows 10: Error opening Sketchup

I tried to open SketchUp, in the Windows 11, and the following error appeared:The application has encountered an error: Ox8007FFOE Please contact the publisher of this application for more information,Has anyone experienced this, could you help me?

Registry editor / SketchUp not opening

I've got an weird problem that I've wasted many hours trying to figure out. Long story short I was have a "nonpaged pool" issue with my memory leaks. I've read this number shouldn't get over 1GB, and this number was climbing from the moment I turned on my machine. My memory would also max out, making everything super slow. After a few searches I found some tweaks in the registry that stabilized that issue. But now my Sketchup doesn't open.

I've narrowed it down to the following registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Null"

When this is set to the standard "1" I have memory leaks, but no issues with SketchUp. When I adjust it to "4", the memory leaks are gone but SketchUp doesn't open. I'm not smart enough to know what this means, or if there are other options with this registry key. But this particular key is what is making my computer behave odd.

As of now, I have that set at "4", so my computer is operating normally, except SketchUp. And I work in an architecture office so that's a program we use. No other apps are having any issues. Bluebeam, Adobe, Autodesk products are all opening and operating normally. This is the only one.

Any ideas would be helpful.

 

Update KB4013429 messes with Sketchup

Having the same issue after installing SketchUp 2017 but I do not see KB4013429 in the list of installed updates. Running OS Build 15063.540

Tried updating the Intel Video driver to the latest, running on my Lenovo E530.

 

SketchUp program is really slow when selectiong an object using Surface Book 2 and new Surface Pro.

The Surface Book 2 should be capable enough in running SketchUp because it has a dedicated GPU. You might be experiencing this performance issue because SketchUp is only using integrated graphics instead of utilizing the dedicated GPU. Let's try setting
your Surface to always use the dedicated GPU when running the app. Here's how:

• On the search bar, in the taskbar, type Control Panel and select
  Control Panel in the results.
• Click on Hardware and Sound.
• Click on Nvidia Control Panel.
• In the graphics settings, specify SketchUp to use the graphics card.
