Windows 10: Why will only custom files export on file explorer.

Whenever I try to export a file into most websites from File Explorer, it won't work. It says something like "file type not supported" or "[website] was not able to import files". I've noticed that custom files will import just fine, but if it's not a custom file, it won't import. I've tried editing the file without changing too much to make it custom like changing the file type but it hasn't worked. Is there any way I could fix this?

That is exactly what I was going to suggest. Export everything to another PST file, delete the old(or rather move it out of the default folder) and replace it with the new PST file that you exported.

If you were using other application apart from file explorer, you may follow the below steps to export to pen drive/flash drive.

• Open the location where the Photos are located using File Explorer.
• Select the files you want to Export.
• Right click on the file and select ‘Send to’ from its context menu.
• Now select the Jump drive from the sub menu.
• Once the transfer is done, you may open the jump hard disk drive from the File Explorer and check if the file is present there.

Please follow the steps:

  Open the desktop, then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.

  Tap or click the Favourites star.
  
• 
  From the drop-down menu, tap or click Import and export.
  
• 
  In the Import/Export Settings dialogue box, select Export to a file, then tap or click
  Next.
  
• 
  Select Favourites (and any other settings) that you'd like to export, then tap or click
  Next.
  
• 
  Select the folders of favourites that you want to export, then tap or click
  Next. Internet Explorer automatically exports all subfolders.
  
• 
  By default, Internet Explorer creates a file called bookmark.htm in your Documents folder. If you want to store the exported favourites to somewhere other than Documents (such as a disc or a flash drive), tap or click
  Browse, then select a different drive. Tap or click Save.
  
• 
  Click Finish.
