    How to change boot order in America Megatrends BIOS. VERSION 2.20.1275

    Hello! My name is Cristiano. I'm an Independent Advisor. I'd be happy to help you!

    To change the boot order, you will need to access your BIOS settings. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Restart your computer and press the key that takes you to the BIOS setup screen. This key varies depending on your computer's manufacturer, but it is usually one of the following: F2, F12, Delete, or Esc.

    2. Once you're in the BIOS setup screen, navigate to the "Boot" tab using the arrow keys.

    3. Look for the "Boot Priority" or "Boot Order" option and select it.

    4. Use the arrow keys to move the SSD to the top of the boot order list. Make sure to save your changes before exiting the BIOS setup screen.

    5. Restart your computer and it should now boot from your SSD.

    If you're still having issues booting from your SSD after changing the boot order, you may need to check if your SSD is properly connected to your computer or try booting from a different device to see if the issue is with your computer or the SSD.

    How to change boot order in BIOS with Aptio Setup Utility?

    I can’t figure out how to change boot order in Aptio setup (American Megatrends) for a new laptop with no CD/DVD, Windows 10. (image attached)

    I would like to use bootable Macrium Rescue Disc, and need this boot sequence:
    1. USB flash drive
    2. Hard Disc

    Can't Change Boot Order

    Cloned original C:\ drive to an SSD drive then followed the windows procedure to get to BIOS to change the boot order:

    • Settings
    • Update and Security
    • Recovery - Restart Now
    • Troubleshoot
    • Advanced Options
    • UEFI Firmware Settings
    • Restart
    The last restart does not take me to BIOS. I just get a blank screen. Esc key gets me back to Windows, but I don't want to format the original C:\ drive for other use until I am able to change the boot order. How do I do that?
