    Hello Microsoft community... I am trying to crop a drawing canvas in Word 2003.... like from the bottom up so that the text below appears a cm below objects in the drawing - but I find when I drag from bottom up ... the objects distort... Also I am trying to get borders on the drawing canvas to show... well I find the help menus talk about borders on drawings pictures and objects but not on the drawing canvas??

    I understand that you wanted to remove drawing canvas from your email. Just follow these few steps below.

    Select File > Options.

    Select Mail in the navigation pane on the left.

    Click the 'Editor Options...' button in the 'Compose messages' section.

    Select Advanced in the navigation pane on the left.

    Clear the check box 'Automatically create drawing canvas when inserting AutoShapes' in the 'Editing options' section.

    Click OK, then click OK again.

    Is it just one file, or all your word files?

    With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.

    I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.
