Windows 10: News and Interest it set to off in Taskbar Settings but when I hover over kit a box appears...

I'm almost positive it's not the computer or a virus. Every time I hover near Windows Search on the Taskbar, where news and interests appear, that annoying pop-up appears. It is off in Settings. It is toggled off in Taskbar Settings. Is this just another Windows screw up?

chrome + taskbar autohide problem

So i set my taskbar autohide. whenever chrome is in fullscreen, when i hover around the corner, the taskbar wont appear. It works with other browsers....

If in case that you're not seeing any search bar or box on your taskbar, this option can be hidden. You can have your search box appear on your taskbar by following these steps:

• Right-Click on the taskbar or Cortana.
  
• Hover your mouse over Cortana, then select Show search box.

Taskbar - to restore to default settings

Hi,

To change the settings for the icons on your taskbar, follow the steps below:

• Right click on your taskbar.
• Select on Settings.
• On the pop-up window, look for the Combine taskbar buttons option.
• Click on the drop-down arrow and choose Always, hide labels.
• Once done, you can now close the settings window.
