Windows 10: Why this blank space in the Win 11 taskbar unused?

This. I have taskbar settings to break out each program separately. I know many will say, just combine all. but I hate this. I also allow overflow. But it's odd that Win leaves such premo real estate empty when it could easily be filled. I want more programs to be in the taskbar. See pic.

It may be possible that the blank space on your notification area is connected with the OneDrive app. We can reset the app by following the steps below:

• To open the Run dialog box, press and hold the Windows key and press
  R.
• Type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset and press
  Enter.
• The OneDrive icon will disappear and reappear for a few minutes.
• If the OneDrive icon doesn't appear on the notification area, open the
  Run dialog box again and type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe and press
  Enter.

Hi,

There is a way for us to check the notifications enabled on your device. This will help us determine if there is a program causing the issue. To do this, please follow these steps:

• Click Start, type taskbar settings and press
  Enter.
• Under Notification area, click Select which icons appear on the taskbar.
• Turn off all the notifications and try to turn it on again one by one so we can check which program has the empty icon.

The blank space disappears in tablet mode.

Otherwise, it's same old. The blank space is still there.
