    File Location Discrepancy - Onedrive

In an excel file I click file and the location path says one things. When I right click the excel icon in the taskbar and hover over the filename, the file path is another thing. When I navigate to the file location as noted in the file, it is there but it is an outdated version. Why can't I find the file? This seems to be related to onedrive. Please enlighten me.

    :)

  2. Reviewing location history - huge discrepancy

    Looking for suggestions, corrections, etc

I was just reviewing my location history for the last month. It ping pongs between saying I'm in my home area (Toronto & surrounding areas, Ontario Canada) and a whole bunch of suggestions that I've been in Savannah, GA. That's not a small discrepancy. Does this suggest my microsoft account is being accessed by someone else in a completely different country? What concerns should I have?

  3. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

Move Onedrive location in file explorer to below This PC

    Version: Windows 20H2 (19042.746)
    Hi people,

I've been following tutorials online about changing the files listed on the This PC view with registry editor
I've removed quick access and network for example, and the system libraries.

I do uni work on the OneDrive, but I always miss it at the top, so I effectively want to swap it with the position of This PC or put it below This PC on the panel list.

I think I just need to know the location of a different section such as network and change the value of that to hold OneDrive, but I'm not sure.
