Windows 10: My computer says I have no space, but nothing is taking up my storage

My laptop says I am fully using up all 100GB of storage and I need to free up some, but when I take a look at all the apps and other folders, there is no way these apps have this much space being used. I looked at the apps installed and I have noticed that there are 2 versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and windows desktop runtime installed.One for x64 and x86 for both of these apps. Am I supposed to be having 2 versions? My laptop says it's a x64-based processor. Would there be any issues if I were to delete the x86 version of these 2 apps?

Storage Space

Surface Pro 3 storage space is low. Storage settings say that Apps and Games is using 17.5 GB but when I add up the space from the list of apps it is only 5.7 GB. What is taking up up the other ~12 GB and how do I free up space?

 

Storage Spaces says full

I recently got a notification saying storage spaces was full but when I check it in file explorer it says 298GB free.









Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy on what is being reported as the available space in storage spaces?

Even WinDirStat does not say its full.

 

Erase/Format Storage Space

Appreciate all lthe help folks.

I suspect I will in fact be needing to take down the storage space and do it individually as spunk suggests.

I will also take good notice of the tutorials.
