Windows 10: Windows 11 24h2 printing issue

Windows 11 pro 24h2 stops printing screen prints in a specific app that used to print hundreds without stopping now only does around 10 to 15 ctrl-b prints then has a error saying something went wrong. This is very frustrating and time consuming as I have to restart the app every time and there is no error in the event log

I have been unable to print since installing Windows 11, version 24H2. The print requests remain stuck in the print queue and are listed as “pending”.

Microsoft is aware of a compatibility issue for a small number of older printers in Windows 11, version 24H2, that causes print requests to remain pending in the print queue.



Microsoft plans to address this issue in a future Windows update. We will update this post when the Windows update becomes available.
