Windows 10: Can anyone please clarify RSS Queue and whether it works with multiple physical CPU or CPU...

Hello All,I have been trying to find accurate information in regard to setting my RSS queue. From MS webpages, I have found information that states RSS queue only works when a PC has multiple physical CPU's and then other MS web pages state that RSS works with CPU core. The information from other web sources also conflict as to whether RSS works with the cores or just multiple physical processors. I have two network adapters and one has the option for up to 4 and the other has up to 8 rss. My PC only has one CPU. I also read that having rss enabled with one CPU can cause network congestion and

Multiple physical CPU support in Windows 10

I was wondering whether Windows 10 has the same CPU restrictions as found in Windows 7 and 8. In both those versions only 1 physical CPU is supported for Home Premium, and 2 for Pro and Ultimate (though they all support multiple cores).

Will this be the same for Windows 10? Or will all versions support multi-CPU setups?

Still in the process of installing Windows 10 on a new server, I eventually managed to display detailed CPU usage, only to find it lists only four. These would be the four cores in one of two Xeon CPU.

So where are the other four? I have spent a fair while trying to establish whether Windows 10 Home supports more than one physical CPU. I could not find an answer. I did find that earlier Windows versions only support one in their basic version.

Windows 10 comparison charts I found made no mention of CPU support (unless I missed it). My choice of the Home version (coming from XP Pro) was based on my perception that I require none of the features of the Pro version.

So my question is simple, does Windows 10 Home support at least two physical CPU, in my case having four cores each?

And just to be clear, the BIOS lists both CPU; so the hardware is all there.
