  1. "Location is not available" problem after plugging in a microSD. Possible malware?

I plugged in a USB with two sd cards into my PC. One of them had files and folders on them, the other didn't. I have since removed the USB, but a folder from the drive still appears in my File Explorer Quick Access along with files from the sd card appearing in my recents tab under Home. I can't access or delete these items, they are PNG and JPG files. I'm hesitant to plug the sd card back in due to possible malware. There were pictures, mp4 files and .apk files which might be the issue even though I never opened them on my PC. Some of the folders from the used sd card also appear on the new

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

  3. Best way to remove problem Malware

    Hi There,

I am trying to remove a bundle of Malware without success.

There is a bundle of listed programs which I try to uninstall through the typical Control Panel effort, but they remain listed there:

    Buenosearch Toolbar
    MyPC Backup
    PC Performer
    Speed Test 127
    UnknownFile

I was looking at this weblink which provides a 5 step process for Buenosearch alone:

Not sure how much certain guides can be trusted. One of the first things I read was to download Revo Uninstaller, and I've not heard of it so I'm not sure if it's trustworthy..........

    Music Sync with microsd card

    Hello -

I am having all kinds of problems using my microsd card to sync music. I have a Lumia 822. I can sync music to my phone without issue. But, if I try to sync music to my microsd card, I get duplicate listings of songs. And, every time I try to re-sync,
the song is listed again. This doesn't happen for every song, but for many. I have tried two different microsd cards - one is 32g and the other 64. Same problem for both. Any suggestions?

    TIA
