Windows 10: My PC only boots with my HDD when I have my SSD set as the boot priority in the bios

I have windows 11 on my SSD and when my HDD is unplugged it works fine, but when I try to plug in my HDD with windows 10 for extra storage, my PC boots up with my HDD and windows 10. I have set my bios priority as my SSD and removed all other boot options, but it still boots with my HDD. Please help, I want to boot with my SSD and just use my HDD for extra storage.

Boot priority in BIOS is unresponsive

I cloned my boot drive (HDD) to another drive (SSD) and both are showing in the BIOS boot priority but I can't change the priority. I was wondering if formatting HDD will remove it from the priority list to it sets SSD to default.

How to set SSD as a boot priority

Hi, I switched from HDD to SSD, but I don’t know how to set SSD as my boot priority. In boot priority order there is only windows boot manager. So I took HDD out of PC and now it wants me to select proper boot device. And instead of windows boot manager there is hard disk in the BIOS.
