    Bottom of screen flickering at around 1s intervals


    Hi all,I'm using Windows 10, i noticed that the bottom edge of my screen is flickering at like 1 second intervals. Its just like flicker, one second later, another flicker. I tried changing the task bar to top and left, no luck. I tried disabling the graphics driver for the PC and using the dedicated GPU, tried SFC scan and DISM too but to no avail. I do notice that if i open windows from say File Explorer, Outlook, and Edge, it would cause it to flicker more. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
