Alternative charging

I lost my charger recently and was wondering if my laptop is compatible for usb-c charging?

RD Gateway Server - how to remove permanently

Hello, At my previous job, I was asked to take certain steps (don't remember now what they were) but it was to set up RDP to use a Gateway server. Now that I've changed jobs, I still see the old IP and Gateway server information. I went to registry and deleted the entries from Terminal client and servers. However, I still see a server name listed under RDP-Advanced-Settings-Use these RD Gateway Server settings. I have opted for - Do not use RD Gateway server but was wondering how to remove the old server name entry completely. Thanks

 

Charger broken

Find the part number on your charger and search Google for replacement charger for it. This may be more exact than the laptop's model number, although you need to examine the pictures closely to be sure it's the same one, and I'd only buy it if it has an easy return policy.

For example if I search for your PC model number + replacement charger it comes up with this one:

However past experience has proven the actual part number is more accurate to search, so put that into Google and examine them closely to find the one that matches best, has the easiest return policy, and then be prepared to test it and if necessary return and replace it.

Another method is to go to a computer shop like Micro Center and ask the service desk to help you find a universal charger. They will often plug in their own to make sure which one works, and then either have the part or a universal charger that works.

There is no way I know of to make a charger work if the plug is missing. If you have an electrically talented friend they might be able to splice it back together.
