Windows 10: Windows identify external HDD as pendrive or as USB

Discus and support Windows identify external HDD as pendrive or as USB in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i opened task manager i checked my perfomance and i see my SSD which has windows on it and my external HDD but why it identifies as USB and in some pcs...     i opened task manager i checked my perfomance and i see my SSD which has windows on it and my external HDD but why it identifies as USB and in some pcs identify as HDD and not USBHDD Info:Toshiba Corporation - Made in PhilippinesHDD500GBGPT i wasnt able to change it to MBRI use the HDD on xbox but for xbox dev mode8455MBi think my HDD is one of the old onesOS: Windows 11PC: HP 255 G7 Notebook

    Error copying from USB HDD to pendrive

    I have this issue bugging me for some time. Whenever I try to copy anything from an USB HDD directly to a pendrive I got an error. Then I always have to make the copy in two steps: first copy from the USB HDD to an internal HDD or SSD, disconnect the USB drive, insert the pendrive and copy the files to the pendrive. I suspect that the computer doesn't like to copy from USB to USB but I'm not sure. I'd like to know exactly what is this and if there is a fix. Thanks.

    External HDD/USB.

    Hello.

    I have an external HDD docking station connected to my PC thru USB.

    Devine manager sees it. But Windows explorer does not.

    Suggestions?
