    Missing important security updates


    Hi,I just observed that in my windows update section it says that i have some important security updates missing from my computer. I ran the search for updates but didnt find anything.Does anyone had the same error?Is it there an another way to search for updates?already tried with microsoft assistance

    Windows 10 Updates: Your device is missing important security and quality fixes

    Hi there,

    Windows updates are available, however the system does not update these nor lets me do it manually. This message shows: Your device is missing important security and quality fixes, and a list of 6 pending download updates are listed below.

    I followed the steps I could find in this community from other users having similar difficulties in the past and it didn't fix it.

    Please help.

    Windows Security is missing

    Please complete the steps listed under the section "Step 2: Repair/Restore the Windows Defender Service" in the Defender service missing article, and reboot Windows. Note: Import the REG file as TrustedInstaller, as described in the article.

    If that doesn't help, a repair installation (see the link in my previous post) is needed.
