Windows 10: How to create the 32-bit out-of-process VB.NET COM server for use in the 64-bit VB.NET client

I used the ChatGPT, then Claude to create the 32-bit VB.NET COM server working with the 64-bit VB.NET client with no luck. My code is here. No compiled files, just the code. You'll need to correct the *.reg file, to replace with the paths on your system to use it. The object cannot be instantiated in the 64-bit VB.NET client. What do I do wrong?

I need to modify a program originally written in VB 2010 under . net 4 on a 32-bit Windows machine.

I now use a 64-bit W10 dual screen machine.

What should I down-load and from where?

The only real test would be trying 32 bit Windows 10 and seeing if it ends up being faster in practice [a test that would take quite a bit of your limited time].

I get the impression that you are aware that
2GB RAM are required for the 64 bit version whereas a minimum of 1GB is required for the 32 bit version. So your choice is between

• getting the benefit of 64 bit processing but limited by the invalid RAM size, or
  
• foregoing the 64 bit processing benefit in order to fulfil the minimum RAM requirement.

Differences between Windows 10 32 bit and 64 bit

16-bit DOS and Windows programs will not run directly on 64-bit Windows.

There's lots of detailed info. about the differences between the 32 and 64-bit Windows available on the net if you search, but basically if you have 4GB or more of RAM then install Win10 64-bit, otherwise stick to 32-bit.
