    BSOD every couple of days

Getting BSOD every couple of days and I cant figure out why. I got them dozens of times throughout the week months ago, and everything seemed like it was pointing to the ram, so i replaced it. It has slowed down significantly, but I am still having issues: ================================================== Dump File : 062825-9125-01.dmp Crash Time : 6/28/2025 1:59:16 PM Bug Check String : Bug Check Code : 0x00020001 Parameter 1 : 00000000`00000011 Parameter 2 : 000007cb`47a00000 Parameter 3 : 00000000`00001005 Parameter 4 : ffffe700`01405090 Caused B

    A Couple Questions About Partitions

Hello, it's been a couple days. So I decided to get back at the effort of resolving this, but I'm so confused on how to perform the steps you have listed above even though the list looks pretty simple and self-explanatory. Is it possible to go a little bit more in depth and explain it like you're talking to someone who has no experience doing something like this? That would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Frequent BSOD over the past couple of days.

I use an HP Omen 15 running Windows 11 Home. A couple of weeks back, the battery died out and I am currently using it on power while I wait for the vendor to procure a new battery. I currently receive a CMOS warning every time I start up the laptop. Over the past couple of days have been getting frequent (a couple of times a day) BSODs because of ntoskrnl.exe failing. The most recent one mention irql_not_less_or_equal.

I installed all optional updates, but the issue's been continuing. Haven't particularly installed anything new recently.

The current available minidump files are available here - MiniDump

    Any help is appreciated.

Help Please, BSOD happening every day

    Hello,

I have completed all the steps you suggested. I am on the last step and currently running the memtest86 (halfway through and 0 errors so far).

If I don't receive any errors then there will be no point in sending any information from the memtest86 right?

Once this memtest86 finishes I will spend some time on my PC over the next couple of days and see if the BSOD happens again. Maby updating the BIOS and reinstalling the GPU drivers has fixed it, hopefully. Either way I will let you know in a couple of days or sooner if BSOD happens.

Also, updating the BIOS has reset my settings. Would it be ok to enable my XMP again to get the faster RAM speeds I was on before I updated the BIOS.

Lastly, I noticed this message pop up when my PC started up (I've seen it quite a few times before) but forgot to mention and don't know if it's relevant to the BSOD I am getting. I get a message from windows security under virus and protection saying controlled folder access blocked to LightingService. I think it's maby related to Asus Aura. Should I try and find a way to delete it?

Here is a picture of it:
