Cortana Availability- UK but not Ireland?

Would have to agree with clovenruby. The current version of UK Cortana just needs to be enabled for Ireland region. Simple to do as Ireland is mainly English speaking similar to UK. Also, with Microsoft's European HQ based in Dublin you would think the
company would have Ireland included in the rollout.

I would suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + I to open settings.

2. Click Time and language

3. Click "region and language" and choose the appropriate region from the drop down list.

4. Under "language", click "add language" and select "English".

5. Under English, choose "English(Ireland)".

6. Once its downloaded, click English(Ireland) and click "set it as default".

7. Restart the computer and check.

Also, try these steps:

1. Press Windows key + R

2. Type control and press enter to open the control panel.

3. Click "language". If you don't see language, change the category to "small view" from the drop down list.

4. Under "change your language preference", make sure that English(Ireland) is at the top of the list

Cortana in Ireland?

Thanks for your reply but it still doesn't tell me if Cortana is going to be made available in Ireland, it only tells me what I already knew, that it's now available in 7 other countries besides the US. Unfortunately that list of countries doesn't include
Ireland.

I just wish Microsoft would let their other customers know if Cortana is coming their way.

I know that there's a beta version in the UK so it shouldn't be too difficult to include Ireland in that.
